Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were lovely and had everything you need for a night's stay at short notice. The view overlooking the church was delightful to wake up to, but there were some minor issues like the missing bedside table and unfinished paint job. The service provided by the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially during breakfast where the prices at the bar were reasonable. The location was good, just a nice walk from the city center with buses easily accessible, and I even received a complimentary upgrade for my birthday. However, the hotel bar prices were quite high, and there was some sensitivity to noise nuisances.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant surprises and a few setbacks. The rooms were nice and clean, equipped with essentials like a hairdryer, but unfortunately, the heating system was blowing cold air, making it difficult to sleep. On the bright side, the quick response from the reception to provide a heater was a lovely surprise. The location was ideal, offering easy access to all parts of Bristol.
The hotel had all the amenities expected of a quality establishment, but the unexpected parking charge of £36, despite a £20 upgrade on the day, greatly upset me during what was supposed to be a memorable moment for my proposal.
The hotel rooms were nice and comfortable, super clean, and comfortable, but a bit small for a king room. The service was very friendly and helpful, especially Julie, who was great and quick to meet our needs. The location was superb, perfect for the river, railway station, and city center, despite some disturbance from a woman causing trouble nearby. Overall, a cozy stay with a great location and friendly service.
The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station, making it easy to explore Bristol, especially the harbor. The rooms, however, had some cleanliness issues and noise disturbances from neighboring parties. The service, while eventually helpful, required multiple complaints to address a dirty mattress. The dining options were costly with limited selections, but there was an affordable continental breakfast offer. Overall, a decent stay for a Bristol visit.
The hotel has a unique conical shape, being a former glass kiln, which is an intriguing feature. However, the rooms were small and not very comfortable. The noise from adjoining doors was disturbing throughout the stay. Despite paying in advance, this issue affected the overall experience negatively.
